Join our team: reinforcement fitter (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Solihull, England. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
