Milling machine operator • Dubois County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Dubois County, Indiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery You will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed.
