Elevator repair technician • Greene County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Greene County, Alabama. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
