Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Hardeman County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Full-time with occasional weekends.
