Stainless steel welder wanted in Franklin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Franklin County, Missouri. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Six days a week, one day off.
