Tailor machinist — Greeley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Greeley County, Kansas. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
