Gas service engineer — Askira-Uba

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Askira-Uba, Borno State. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Your main tasks: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
