Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. On the job you will handle: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
