Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. You should have: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls On a typical shift you will fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing. 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
