Crane operator wanted in Catahoula Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
