Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Buchanan County, Iowa. Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
