Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gatehouse guard in Newport County, Rhode Island. On a typical shift you will write up incident reports after any disturbance; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Basic reading of English and local language for registers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
