GTAW welder • Codington County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Codington County, South Dakota. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
