Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Union County, Mississippi. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
