Sheet metal welder • Elmore County, Idaho

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Elmore County, Idaho. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Meals and transport allowance provided.
