Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Banks County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
