We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Jasper County, Missouri. The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
