Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in New Hanover County, North Carolina. The job is at an open-cast mine. Day to day you will refuel the machine and record running hours; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. You should have: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
