Refrigeration and AC mechanic wanted in Harney County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Harney County, Oregon. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day to day you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
