Now hiring: prep cook (Idaho)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a prep cook in Owyhee County, Idaho. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
