Site safety steward • Shelby County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Shelby County, Alabama. You will work at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
