Restoration bricklayer • Warren County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Warren County, Virginia. You will work on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
