We are recruiting: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Madison County, Missouri. The job is at an air conditioning service centre. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage On a typical shift you will commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
