Fire and safety officer • Hickory County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Hickory County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
