Great opportunity: container truck driver (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a container truck driver in Burnet County, Texas. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence The role involves: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Part-time with flexible hours.
