Toolroom milling operator wanted in Coosa County

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Coosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
