Kitchen steward wanted in New Kent County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in New Kent County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar. What we are looking for: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Punctual, reliable and hard-working We offer $200 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
