Vacancy available: lift technician (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in Westmoreland County, Virginia. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Your main tasks: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
