Fire and safety officer wanted in Wasatch County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Wasatch County, Utah. You will work at an oil and gas facility. You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
