TIG welder — Spartanburg County

Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
