Mechanical press operator wanted in Allamakee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Allamakee County, Iowa. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
