Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Six days a week, one day off.
