Steel fixer wanted in Montgomery County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will work on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
