Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Dundee City, Scotland. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
