Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
