Gas commissioning technician • Vandeikya, Benue State

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Vandeikya, Benue State. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
