MIG welder • Balanga, Gombe State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Balanga, Gombe State. You will be based on a structural steel site. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
