Gas pipeline fitter — North Somerset

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in North Somerset, England. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
