Gantry crane operator wanted in Monongalia County

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Monongalia County, West Virginia. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
