Vacancy available: sand plant operator (Sokoto State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Shagari, Sokoto State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
