Cnc lathe setter — Grand Traverse County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
