Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Raleigh County, West Virginia. You will be based in lofts and crawl spaces. The role involves: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant You should have: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
