Production welder • LaMoure County, North Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in LaMoure County, North Dakota. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Meals and transport allowance provided.
