Hand presser — Lisburn and Castlereagh

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Lisburn and Castlereagh, Northern Ireland. Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
