Site safety steward • Wood County, Wisconsin

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Wood County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements On a typical shift you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
