Great opportunity: cnc lathe setter (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Ben Hill County, Georgia. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Six days a week, one day off.
