Paint and prep technician — El Paso County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in El Paso County, Colorado. Day to day you will check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. What we are looking for: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
