Gypsum plasterer wanted in Rapides Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Day to day you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
