Natural gas fitter — Phelps County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Phelps County, Nebraska. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day to day you will install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Rotating shifts. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
