Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Lawrence County, Indiana. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Day-to-day duties: • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Part-time with flexible hours.
